The old Milwaukee RR track above the paved Idaho trail between Plummer Id and east. Some day the Idaho trail can connect to Tekoa and the John Wayne trail that goes from Tekoa across eastern and central Washington to the Cascasde Mountains west of Ellensburg.
The Plummer trail head for the trail to the east which can connect with other trails to the Idaho - Montana boarder and beyond. This large trailhead parking lot is just outside of Plummer. North of Plummer on the main highway. As yet the trail head and trail to Plummer does not have convient and safe access for the people of Plummer to get on the trail. Nor is it yet convient for bikers to get to Plummer without going on the main highway. Some day Plummer can have a trail system that not only connects with the trails to the east, they can also connect to Tekoa, WA and travel the John Wayne Trail and other trails on to Seattle and to the Pacific Ocean.
